Thinking about waiting periods?

If you have held private health insurance within the past 13 weeks and the level of cover was higher or is the same as that of your new policy with us, then you are covered immediately with no waiting periods.

If you are still serving your 5 year waiting period for pre-existing conditions, you may serve the balance with laya healthcare. We will fully recognise the length of time you’ve spent with your previous insurer.
