GPlive - Online Doctor Appointments
No more leaving work, no waiting rooms, no travelling. All you need is the Laya App and you’ll be seen face to face by an Irish Registered GP using your phone, table or PC. They will even send your prescription to your local pharmacy.
How does GPlive work?
GPlive is an online video consultation service which allows you to speak face to face with a GP through your phone, tablet, laptop or desktop. GPlive GPs will be able to provide clinical advice and guidance and, if safe and suitable for you, issue a private prescription. They can also refer you for minor diagnostic tests and, if necessary, refer you for the most appropriate further treatment.
Need a medical cert, sick note or Consultant referral?
With GPlive, not only can you get diagnosed and treated for range of conditions from coughs, colds, chest infections and even sports injuries, if required, our GP’s can also refer you to a Consultant and even issue you with a medical cert should they feel you require some time off work to recover from your illness or injury.
How much does it cost?
Laya Healthcare schemes offer a number of GPlive consultations at no extra cost. You can check your cover in your Member Area or by calling our friendly Customer Care team on 021 202 2000.
Additional appointments can be booked with a 20% discount for laya healthcare members, placing the cost per consultation between €22.40 and €28.00
All you need to do is download the Laya App and register for the service. You can download the app in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store on your device.
