24/7 phone access to a GP
If you’d like a consultation with a doctor to get some peace of mind, we’re here.
Laya Healthcare’s GPline gives you telephone access to a doctor 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
How does it work?
GPline is simple to use. Call us on 021 202 2860, at any time.
You’ll speak with a friendly, trained person who will know what questions to ask you. They’ll arrange for a doctor to call you back at a time that suits you. It’s completely confidential.
Please note that GPline is an advice based service. Prescriptions are not available through this service.
Are there instances where I shouldn't call GPline?
In a few cases, the GPline isn’t always allowed to help you. For instance, if you’re pregnant, or think you’re pregnant, the GPline can’t give you advice – even if you’re looking for advice about something other than your pregnancy. Instead, it’s best to seek the personal care of your regular doctor. Your own doctor will also be able to refer you on for specific treatments. That’s something the GPline can’t do either.
And, if it’s an emergency, you should always contact the emergency services immediately. Please don’t delay in getting the treatment you need. For everything else, GPline is a confidential and easy way for you to get medical advice at a time that works for you.
