Scan Centres

Most of our schemes provide cover for medical scans including MRI’s, Mammograms, Breast scans, CT scans and Dexa scans. As a member with us, you have an option to attend one of two types of centres;

Please check your cover  as some scans require Consultant referral. You can do this on the Laya App or in your dedicated Member Area. 

1. Directly covered centres - these centres will bill us directly for the amount covered under your scheme.

2. Pay and claim centres - you pay the cost on the day and then submit your receipt to claim back. Find out more about claiming back on everyday expenses here 

Please note: the proposed treatment must be medically necessary and satisfy the criteria in our schedule of benefits for conditions of payment, including clinical indicators. 

Please note that MRI, CT and Pet scans require a claim form. To claim for these scans:

1.        Download and print this claim form

2.        Bring the form to the scan centre for your appointment and ask them to fill it in and stamp it.

3.       Use your Laya App to submit the form to us
