The mental wellbeing of our team is a top priority. As a result, we have introduced a range of initiatives and offer benefits that directly support our team, no matter what they're going through.

Mental Health First Responders

Laya Healthcare rolled out extensive training to a team of 40 volunteers - team members who work in a variety of departments across our business.

The team's purpose is to assist anyone who might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or perhaps might just want a chat.

Every Mental Health First Responder is trained in offering in-the-moment support, as well as offering resources and referrals to experts where needed.

24/7 Mental Wellbeing Support Programme

This confidential wellbeing support and counselling service, available to members aged 16+, is designed to assist our team in maintaining positive mental health and, where required, deal more effectively with any personal or work-related problems they might be facing, including the following:

  • Advice on practical, day-to-day issues that cause anxiety and stress
  • Legal Assistance
  • Financial Assistance
  • Consumer Advice
  • Career Guidance
  • Life Coaching
  • Mediation
