What is a Money Smart Cash Back scheme?
Smart, easy cash plans
If you’re not quite ready for a full-on healthcare plan, you might find a cash plan fits your needs better. Cash plans are really simple. They give you cash back on your everyday medical expenses. Things like visits to the doctor or the dentist, and bills for scans, physiotherapy, prescriptions and so on. In short, they’re a really affordable way to provide you and your family with cover for common medical costs. You also get free access to our GPline and our Nurseline for confidential 24-hour advice and support. It doesn’t matter how many dependants you add on to the scheme. The price stays the same. Then, every three months, you can claim back some of the money you spent on your medical expenses.
Cover starts from as little as €15 per month (based on our Money Smart 20 Individual Scheme) and there is a scheme for every budget.
Includes cover for our 24 hour GPline & Nurseline services.
You can submit your receipts on a quarterly basis.
How is Money Smart different from private medical insurance?
It’s important you understand that a cash plan isn’t the same as healthcare insurance. We’ve created them with your everyday medical expenses in mind. They don’t cover you for private healthcare or a stay in private or semi-private hospital accommodation.
If you have any questions, we’re really easy to talk to.
Important note
Please be aware that these Money Smart cash plans are not included in Lifetime Community Rating. If you do not hold an inpatient health insurance scheme before 1st May 2015, a loading may be applied when you switch to, or purchase inpatient health insurance cover on or after this date. However, Money Smart cash plans are still considered continuous cover in terms of waiting periods.
