24/7 Mental Wellbeing Support Programme

We are delighted to announce our exclusive new member benefit providing members access to a range of confidential support services to help them to maintain positive mental health and wellbeing at no extra cost.

From 1st July 2018, all laya healthcare members aged 16+ can access this 24/7 Mental Wellbeing Support Programme from their renewal, providing immediate help and ‘in the moment’ support in managing any personal or work-related issues they might be facing, including the following;

Once I have made contact, how does it work?

This new benefit provides access to immediate advice and support provided by our Case Management Team, who are all fully qualified and experienced psychotherapists based in Ireland. If referred for counselling, members are referred to one of our affiliate counsellors, spread throughout the country. The counsellor will be in touch within 48 hours and will offer an initial appointment within 5 working days at a time that suits you, the member.

The Case Management Team can also refer members to a panel of experts experienced in a variety of fields, including financial and tax advisors, legal professionals, career counsellors and more, to help members with everyday issues that may be impacting their wellbeing.

Laya healthcare’s 24/7 Mental Wellbeing Support Programme can be accessed quickly and easily 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by calling 1800 911 909.

Who is supporting me?

All of the counsellors available through the programme have a minimum qualification of a diploma in counselling and/or psychotherapy, have at least two years post-qualification experience and are fully accredited members of the relevant governing bodies such as IACP, APCP, IAHIP.
