Management Information Analyst
Keys skills necessary for the role include:
- Oracle Report Writer
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL,PL/SQL are necessary, with Query Tools such as Brioquery or QlikView an advantage
- Analytical ability required in identifying user requests and creativity required to present effective solutions
- Ability to communicate in layman's terms with non-technical users is desired
- Additional skills include attention to detail, motivation, enthusiasm, working in a close team environment, and the ability to work to tight timelines to meet agreed service levels
- Insurance industry Experience an advantage
Main duties for the role include:
- Participate in defining information requests with the relevant business users
- Design and build information queries based on defined business criteria
- Deliver the information in the required format and layout
- Follow the defined and agreed process for producing the reports
- Work with other information analysts in developing and enhancing the ad hoc reporting process
- Follow the current control procedures to ensure accuracy of information
- Work to agreed timelines to deliver information in a timely manner
