Management Information Analyst

Keys skills necessary for the role include:

  • Oracle Report Writer
  • Knowledge of Oracle SQL,PL/SQL are necessary, with Query Tools such as Brioquery or QlikView an advantage
  • Analytical ability required in identifying user requests and creativity required to present effective solutions
  • Ability to communicate in layman's terms with non-technical users is desired
  • Additional skills include attention to detail, motivation, enthusiasm, working in a close team environment, and the ability to work to tight timelines to meet agreed service levels
  • Insurance industry Experience an advantage

Main duties for the role include:

  • Participate in defining information requests with the relevant business users
  • Design and build information queries based on defined business criteria
  • Deliver the information in the required format and layout
  • Follow the defined and agreed process for producing the reports
  • Work with other information analysts in developing and enhancing the ad hoc reporting process
  • Follow the current control procedures to ensure accuracy of information
  • Work to agreed timelines to deliver information in a timely manner
