Remote 0-5K Running Programme
This programme is a run/walk to continuous running programme for 8 weeks from start to finish. Structure is important for motivation, so we will manage that process through newsletters and pre-programme marketing. Details include:
- 'Beginning to Run' - One seminar focused on challenges, motivation and a Q&A with one of our Fitness Instructors. This can either be delivered on-site or through means of a webinar.
- Access to our eLearning platform where online content will detail a training plan, nutritional tips and practical information allowing employees to follow the programme in their own time.
We encourage the company to do a 5K race at the completion of the programme. People are motivated by competition and should you wish to organise a company event we’re happy to help.
Each participant will have access to our eLearning platform where online content will detail the running programme for that week, as well as helpful advice about nutrition, what to wear and motivational input. The eLearning content is accessible anytime on any device giving the employee total freedom to manage their training around their schedule.
Running Instructor and UCD Sports Lecturer, Maeve McKillop has designed the online programme.
There is no limit on participants on a remote 0-5k programme.
