Paediatric First Aid

Our Paediatric First Aid training course is a seminar or workshop designed to provide attendees with practical first aid skills to treat emergencies that may occur to children and infants. This programme will be beneficial to all people who deal with children/infants in their day-to-day life i.e. parents, childcare assistants, teachers etc.

A comprehensive 3-hour workshop with participation interaction or a 1-hour seminar depending on your chosen format. Participants will learn a broad range of practical basic first aid skills to enable them to deal competently and confidently with common injuries affecting children and infants.

  • Primary Survey (ABC) child & infant
  • Secondary Survey
  • Breathing rates
  • Nose bleed
  • Concussion/compression
  • Epilepsy
  • Burns & scalds
  • Pulse taking
  • Choking child & infant
  • Head injury
  • Fainting
  • Allergies & children
  • Sprains & strains

 

The seminar/workshop is delivered by a qualified first aid instructor.

The workshops can facilitate up to a maximum of 12 people per session. The 1-hour seminar has no limit on attendance.
