Skin Clinic (Mole Mapping)

Skin cancer is the most common cancer in Ireland. Yet in most cases, it is preventable and early detection leads to better outcomes. The vast majority of these cancers are caused by overexposure to UV radiation, mainly from sunlight, although UV radiation from artificial sources (e.g. sunbeds) can also cause skin cancer.

Please note that this is a corporate service, which is only bookable at company level. Please contact your HR team or laya healthcare account manager for further information on this corporate screening programme.

The Full Body Mapping would include a Full Body scan and each patient would receive information and would be educated on a one-to-one at the end of their screening on what changes to look out for, types of moles and sun protection.

This is delivered by a qualified dermatology nurse.
