Service Desk Analyst

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for support to back office and contact centre
  • To provide 1st / 2nd level support to all team members.
  • Escalation of calls to other I.T support members to resolve outstanding and high priority cases.
  • To diagnose and aid the resolution of support issues for desktop/laptop software and hardware.
  • To document all process and procedures relating to systems operations, to comply with all I.T Systems Procedures as required maintaining company Quality Standards and adhering to Audit requirements.
  • To identify and to contribute to continuous improvements in working practices and information technology.
  • To undertake all duties required to develop and maintain I.T. and systems operations, and any other duties requested in order to fulfil the needs of the business
  • Additional Projects as required

Key education/skills necessary for the role include:

  • Third Level IT Qualification would be an advantage or hold professional certification such as MCP, MSCE/MSCA or CCNA
  • ITIL knowledge and experience an advantage
  • At Least 3+ Years’ experience in a similar role resolving and troubleshooting IT issues.
  • Good working knowledge of a wide variety of technical systems:-. Microsoft Windows 7, Basic Networking, Printer and Microsoft Active Directory administration skills.
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to interact with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Excellent organisational/problem management/troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong aptitude to and ambition to learn and develop skills  


Senior User Experience Designer

Desired skills and experience:

  • Must be an expert in user-centred design methods, techniques, and principles with experience in conducting usability tests, persona research and creation, and user flow diagrams
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working as an Interaction Designer or User Experience Professional designing and developing software solutions
  • Experience interacting with users, understanding their needs and translating into product designs
  • Experience prototyping and conducting / analysing web-based interface experiments
  • Proven ability to produce and present user experience documentation: storyboards, user scenarios/tasks, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, annotated mock-ups, etc.
  • Proficient to expert use of software tools such as Axure/OmniGraffle and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier, etc.)
  • A deep interest in human beings, how they think, their behaviours and limitations.
  • An avid learner that stays up to date on latest trends in product design and web/mobile technology
  • Experience with social media, community building, viral mechanics, and crowd-sourcing an asset
  • Superb organisational skills including the ability to juggle multiple projects varying in size and complexity, prioritising time and tasks as needed to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Experience or willingness to use HTML and CSS for prototyping is preferred
  • An innovative and creative nature with an acute attention to detail

Application Support Developers

Desired skills and experience:

  • The ideal candidate must be educated to a degree level and have a minimum of 5 years commercial development experience.
  • Core Technical Requirements: Advanced level knowledge of Oracle (9i, 10G), PL/SQl,  SQL, Problem Solving, Service Management, Incident/Problem and Change Management, Structured and Process Orientated.
  • Highly Desirable Technical Requirements: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery, Angular and JS frameworks), AJAX, Restful (XML/JSON) Web Services, Apache, Prototyping.
  • Desirable Technical Requirements: Enterprise Java, Spring, JSP, Subversion, Hudson, Maven, Windows, Linux, JBoss, Tomcat.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to other technically-astute team members and non-technical business clients.
  • Analytical ability required in identifying user problems and creativity required to present effective solutions.
  • Ability to design and build applications based on defined business criteria and provide an accurate estimate for expected time of completion of a project.
  • Ability to work on own initiative in a proactive manner individually and in a team environment


Digital Programme Manager

Primary Function:      

To lead, co-ordinate and deliver a broad range of digital, social and mobile communication projects from idea generation, to creative design, to product delivery, providing strategic solutions to Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Product Development, Customer Services and Finance in the expansion of our overall market share while at all times creating a nationwide awareness of our brand and our values.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Act as an ambassador for our brand and our values at all times.
  • Ensure the integrated elements of digital projects are brought together on time, to specification and within budget to meet stakeholders’ expectations.
  • Identify new and emerging trends in the digital market across multiple channels.
  • Take responsibility for all digital project life cycles including ideation, design & development and pre/post launch phases.
  • Understand and communicate the business rationale and technical requirements of digital projects.
  • Engage cross functional teams in a collaborative, confident and influential manner to develop digital project objectives, scope, structure, timelines and deliverables to progress the organisation to the forefront in the domain.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a clear and concise fashion.
  • Manage all digital projects, identifying and prioritising resources required, establishing delivery plans that take on board the consequences for and concerns of all our business functions
  • Create all planning and execution documents to include project deliverables, deployment schedules and project success criteria.
  • Document and circulate all digital project plans detailing activities, ownership, dependencies, risks and timing in a wide cross-functional environment. Follow up with plan component owners to deliver projects on time.
  • Demonstrate the ability to grasp issues, to evaluate situations and to make appropriate decisions. Resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Recommend improvement to project management approaches, policies and guidelines.
  • Contribute, where appropriate to the development of marketing strategies and plans
  • Any and all other activities which are requested and within the capabilities of and appropriate to the role     

Education and experience:

Ideally the candidate will be third level qualified in a Business or Science discipline with three years experience in digital projects/project management.  However, career achievement to date and right fit for our culture will be the defining criteria in selection.


QA Engineer


  • Contribute to all aspects of the systems QA process for both new and existing functionality.
  • Work with the QA Manager to identify improvement initiatives to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of testing work.
  • Define test strategy, test case specifications for both manual and automated testing and conduct test automation.
  • Quality assurance of functionality, performance/stress testing and operational reporting.
  • Create & execute test cases (manual and automated), results analysis & defect reports.
  • Assess automated tools, play a key role in tool selection.
  • Review of technical, functional and requirement documentation.
  • Liaise with business relevant managers, support and development teams to identify system requirements.

Experience Required:

  •  Experience of automation test tools such as Spira (Test Management), Selenium IDE - RC Server or Webdriver, QTP, SilkTest, Soap Ui, JMeter.
  • Working knowledge Windows and Linux OS.
  • Experience of XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, Web Services and SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Knowledge of application stress, load and performance testing.
  • Experience of testing DB applications.
  • Excellent analytic and problem solving skills, self-motivated and goal oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Other Requirements:

  • BSc/MSc degree or equivalent in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of software testing or engineering experience.



Senior Finance Risk and Compliance Accountant    

Primary Function:     

  •  Reporting to the Finance Risk and Compliance Manager the Senior Finance Risk and Compliance Accountant will:
  • Provide accurate and timely information to enable informed commercial decisions to be made;
  • Ensure statutory obligations and reporting requirements are fulfilled that fall within this Finance Risk and Compliance function
  • Provide reliable and efficient service to other departments.
  • Ensure compliance with Revenue Commissioners for compliance returns
  • Ensure compliance with Health Insurance Authority reporting requirements
  • Manage and ensure completion of all Health Insurance Authority requests
  • Ensure any amendments to reporting and compliance requirements are made
  • Assist with Projections for the Business

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Compliance strategy in conjunction with Director of Finance and Compliance.
  • Development to drive the compliance strategy in response to changes in business direction
  • Ensure TRS/ARTR returns are prepared accurately and returned to Revenue Commissioners by due date
  • Ensure Health Insurance Authority (HIA) returns are prepared accurately and returned to HIA by due date
  • Ensure annual Levy return is prepared accurately and returned to Revenue Commissioners by due date
  • Supervise Compliance Assistant, and direct as required.  Mentoring and training.
  • Lead role in any Compliance audits relating to compliance returns
  • Assist with Projections for the Business
  • Ad hoc work

Education and experience:

  • CPA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualified accountant
  • Min of 8 years experience post qualification in a finance department and must possess an excellent knowledge of business and accounting practice.
  • Previous experience in a similar finance type role desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to establish and adhere to procedures regarding sign off, approval procedures etc.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills.
  • Experience in working in a regulated environment and experience in a compliance role is a requirement.
